The book pick was great. I’m halfway through the book and I loved it. I also love how they gave us a flyer for 75% so we can get the sequel. However, I REALLY WISH they would do their own covers and endpapers. There’s nothing special with original hardcovers. Kind of how they did for the previous subscription.
Im keeping my subscription because i really like Acrylipics and I really LOVE their design, their team is very talented. In the former subs they really showed they care about our opinions and they made changes as time went by and that’s really nice!👍

I really enjoyed my first Acrylipics subscription box overall. The packaging is beautiful, and I loved that the book came hidden inside a mystery bag—it made opening it feel like unwrapping a present. The colors are vibrant, the exclusive dust jacket is gorgeous, and from what I’ve seen online, the book choice seems like a great one.
My biggest concern is that the 3D-printed page edges were stuck together. The books are advertised as readable, but separating the pages one by one is very tedious and risks damaging both the artwork and the pages. Because I don’t know much about this book, I also wish there had been a short, spoiler-free synopsis included. Without that, I’m hesitant to spend the time separating every page and will probably end up buying another copy just to read it.
If someone chooses not to separate the pages—or has fine motor difficulties—they’re left with a display piece rather than a truly readable book, which is disappointing given how it’s advertised. I also found the naked hardcover a little underwhelming compared to the stunning dust jacket.
Overall, I think Acrylipics has created a beautiful subscription experience with a fun unboxing experience. A few improvements to page usability, accessibility, and including a brief book summary would make it even better.

Wow! This first 3D sub box truly blew me out of the water! Not only is it a popular title, the book itself is STUNNING. No other sub of “These Immortal Truths” even compares. The coupon for a huge discount off of book two was the largest of cherries on top!! I have a lot of book subscriptions, but this easily became my favorite of them all! I cannot wait for the next!!!

This book is beautiful; I cannot stress enough how breathtaking it is. I have never owned something so unique with the 3D sprayed edges, AND the book selection was an awesome choice. I hope they choose the second installment to this series so I'd have the complete series (It's a duology so it would only be 2 subscription boxes worth of books, and I don't think that's the route they're taking).
With that said, when I got the book of course the first thing I wanted to do was start reading it... VERY difficult to do considering the pages are almost solidified together. The book is essentially a trophy for your shelf, as the intricate and painstaking tedious task of separating each page to be a readable book is almost impossible. Did I do exactly that? Yes. In doing so, I also damaged the (patent pending) 3D sprayed edges slightly, as each page separated took with it part of the color on the edges.
Will I keep the subscription? Yes, because like I said, I've never owned such a unique and beautiful book such as this, and I like supporting creators like Acrylipics. But I can't say I'm not slightly disappointed with how inaccessible the actual book is to those of us who would like to read it.
These books are STUNNING. 10/10 worth every penny for my favorite series. Packaging is both beautiful and ensure my books arrive in perfect condition.

Absolutely beautiful book. I am pretty sad they didn't decide to keep the hardcover art like on the previous subscription boxes. But the pick was great and loved the coupon to get the next book!
